The microscope was made by the Dutch lens maker named Zacharias Janssen. It wasn’t until it was used as a scientific instrument till the mid-1600’s. this man was named Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. By using this instrument, and examining a drop of water, he found tiny plants and animals not visible to the naked eye.
the next invention that was made was the thermometer. This was made by Galileo. The Thermometer were made to measured water variations. The thermometer that Galileo made is called Galileo thermometer today because it is not as good as measuring as thermometer are today.
Years later, in 1643. A pupil of Galileo, Torricelli, employed a dish and an inverted tube of mercury. to make the first barometer in order to measure atmospheric pressure. This is known as the Torricelli tube. A barometer is a scientific instrument that measures art pressure
The next invention was the telescope. Also made by a Dutchman, Zacharias Jannsen. He made this so he could observe the stars. He also did this because he liked the stars. But Galileo made a more improved telescope.
