I Sir Isaac Newton am a English scientist and one of the greatest and most influential scientist who ever lived. I wrote the Principia Mathematica. When my book was published in 1687 it marked the high point of the scientific revolution. I was interested in learning about the nature of light so I did a series of experiments. Most people believed that light was white I proved that light was made up of all the colors in the rainbow. My research was the basis of my invention of the reflecting telescope. I also studied and simplified the work of earlier scientist. I reviewed everything scientist had been learning and coupled it with my own observations and ideas. I also identified four theories that told how the physical world worked. My theories have been proven to be right that they are called laws. One of laws was gravity; it is what keeps the planets in orbit around the sun and makes an apple drop to the ground. My other three laws are the laws of motion. These laws tell how objects move in space. “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction,” this is one of the three laws of motion. I once said that the universe was a like a huge machine and everything in it followed the laws. I also invented calculus which is an advance form of mathematics. For all of this I am remembered as a great scientist.
